Dawn has been a design technician at OPI for almost 4 years and has also been the first call for OPI’s IT and technical needs. Her role includes taking concept drawings from a project manager and turning them into buildable set plans as well as turning black and white drawings into color presentations to allow designers to better help our clients visualize their dreams.
About Dawn
Dawn moved to Fort Myers from Nebraska in the summer of 2019. After completing her A.S. degree in Architecture and Construction Technology from FSW in 2021, she began working for OPI. She has since returned to Nebraska to spend time with my family but continues to work remotely for OPI.
Favorite Interests & Hobbies:
I love technology, photography, playing guitar and piano, and making things with my hands - from woodworking to knitting hats with my mom for charity to Lego.

Going back to school to further my education in the architectural field

My favorite fictional hero is Captain America, but my mother is my real-life superhero

I like the Fast and Furious series, the Pitch Perfect series, and most anything else with a good ensemble cast
Favorite Place To Be (other than work):
Summertime – in the pool. Wintertime – bundled up in blankets with hot cider and a good book
Favorite Outdoor Space:
In FL, I loved relaxing at the beach outside at Doc’s Beach House. Here in NE, I enjoy Pioneer Park where I can watch buffalo and just enjoy nature
